The Rescue Diver Xcalak course is perfect for those who want to take their diving skills to the next level and be prepared for any eventuality.
You will learn specific first aid and rescue techniques for the aquatic environment, which will allow you to prevent and manage stressful situations, search for and recover missing divers, control panic situations, and provide basic emergency care, such as CPR and bleeding control.
Our experienced certified instructors will guide you through a combination of theory and practice. You’ll learn the fundamentals in our comfortable facility and then put your skills to use in pools and open water. You will be amazed at the confidence and knowledge you will gain during this challenging and rewarding course.
Training in first aid and CPR is also recommended, along with diving experience and good physical condition.
Upon successful completion of the Rescue Diver course, you will receive your certification, this certification will open the doors for you to continue your training in professional and leadership diving courses, as Divemaster and Diving Instructor.

Registration and Theory
Upon arrival at our facilities, you will be greeted by our friendly instructors and will guide you through the registration process. Afterwards, we will start with the theoretical class, where you will learn the fundamentals of diving, including physical principles, breathing techniques and underwater safety. We will use teaching materials, how-to videos, and interactive sessions to help understand key concepts.
Confined Water Dives
You will receive confined water training to acquire the necessary skills in water rescue situations. You will learn search and recovery techniques, stress management and CPR. All this will prepare you to face underwater emergencies safely and efficiently.
Open Water Dives
During the open water training phase of the Rescue Diver course, you will put the skills learned in confined water into practice in a more challenging environment. Under the supervision of our certified instructors, you will carry out realistic rescue simulations and perfect your techniques for search, recovery and attention to underwater emergencies.
This training will give you the confidence and experience necessary to become a rescue diver ready to face any situation in the underwater world.
Evaluation and Certification
At the end of the Rescue Diver Xcalak course, a comprehensive evaluation will be carried out to verify your acquired skills and knowledge.
Our certified instructors will carry out practical and theoretical tests to ensure that you are prepared to respond effectively in water rescue situations.
Once you pass the evaluation, you will receive your well-deserved Rescue Diver certification, which will recognize your ability to assist, help in emergencies and advance your career to Divemaster.
